Our PBIS Team has been brainstorming ways in which we can continue to nurture the bond we have with our students, families and staff. In doing so, we held our first Virtual BINGO tonight for a little over an hour. Mrs. Alatorre, our clerk, shared a link with families where they could get a digital BINGO card, and she led participants in six rounds of BINGO fun. Mrs. Caballero (principal) checked the winning cards and announced the prizes. Mrs. Gamino (assistant principal) hosted the event and had her hands full using the "mute all" feature to ensure participants heard numbers being called out!
It was time well spent interacting with students, families and staff. Students in attendance ranged from grades TK-6, of course. We even had a kindergarten student who wanted to share how to view two tabs at once. This remote learning environment has definitely helped us all become more tech savvy! Mrs. Sanchez and Mrs. Garcia. Interacting with our students and families on and off campus makes our Foster Family bond even stronger! Thank you also to Mrs. Cubillo, Elwin Elementary Principal, for joining us and Mrs. Clark, Santa Fe School Principal, for peeking in tonight!
