Social Emotional Supports During Distance Learning

District school psychologists created Padlet websites for our students/parents. They provide various resources, strategies, and supports for social emotional well-being. The website is divided into columns for which you can scroll down to view more content.  For example, the first column - Primary Sites- includes a section where a student, or parent on behalf of a student, can submit a request to speak to a school psychologist. Just make sure to scroll down to select the correct school of attendance to submit your request.

The website also includes information about Local Agencies, such as crisis hotlines, food banks and our school’s partnering mental health agency Foothill Family Services, among others. There is also a column with BPUSD Resources specifically for our families. The Stories and Videos to Assist Kids in Understanding tab is filled with opportunities to help explain coranavirus, the need to wear masks, and so much more. Make sure to visit this website, created by our district psychologists, and take advantage of the resources they have put at our fingertips! We have added a Social Emotional Supports link to our Foster website; located on the right side of the homepage. You can also use the link below.
