GATE

The GATE program this year serviced 30 students in grades 3rd - 5th under the direction of Mrs. Garcia. Each academic school year students focus on a specific theme. This year the theme was Extreme Exploration. During the study sessions, students engaged in extensive study of past and current world explorations.  They collaborated on an Animoto video project in which they highlighted an explorer, an exploration, or proposed a new exploration. Three groups represented Foster at the District’s GATE showcase. One received an honorable mention.
